Developed for those with a career or academic interest in Canadian governance, public administration, and public sector management, the focus of the 42-credit diploma is on the intersections between public policy, management, administrative law, rights, power and justice in Canada.听

The Diploma in Government Management has been designed to help you gain a better understanding of governing bodies and programs, service delivery in complex settings, legal obligations, and how operations are generally managed in the public sector. Through coursework students will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of working for, or with, government and community-based organizations while managing groups of people.

In addition, as part of the program students will learn important research analytical skills which are sought after in the field, develop writing and public speaking skills, engage in teamwork and gain professional knowledge through practical hands-on project and case study work.

This diploma can be completed on a full or part-time basis.
