Living in residence is a big part of the university experience, and will provide the foundation for so many of the memories you make at CBU. In our residences, students from all over the world come together to discover what it really means to be a Cape Bretoner. From the moment you arrive in your residence, you鈥檙e going to feel like you鈥檝e found your home away from home.

We believe that your residence experience should be as enriching and fun as possible. Our residence buildings are always buzzing with activity, and with tons of on-campus societies, there is always something to do!

With three unique and secure residence options, we know we can find the best arrangement for you. From the traditional single dorm room, to an apartment style set-up with roommates, we think you鈥檙e really going to love life on campus! All you have to do is make your choice and start decorating.

Rest easy knowing that each of our residence building is accessible to student occupants only, and our secure entryways require electronic keys for access.

Arriving with family? There are several hotels in the surrounding area. We鈥檙e happy to help you arrange accommodations for the duration of their stay.

Cabot Residence

Cabot Residence offers apartment-style dorms where each apartment, or flat as you might know them, has four private bedrooms and two bathrooms, all built around a shared living room and kitchen. So gather your roomies and host a dinner party.

Alumni Hall

Alumni Hall provides the option to choose from traditional dorm rooms or trendy apartment-style living spaces. It has 35 two-bed dorm rooms and 24 five-bedroom apartment units that include shared lounge spaces and laundry facilities on each floor.

Harriss Hall

Harriss Hall is where you鈥檒l find single and private dorm rooms, with a mix of private and shared washroom facilities. Harriss Hall is also equipped with聽restaurant-style dining聽as well as a stocked pantry where you can cook for yourself. From comfort food to the freshest and most nutritious eats, even the pickiest of eaters will be able to satisfy their cravings here.

Applying for Residence

Students will be able to apply for on-campus housing once they have been issued their 小猪视频email address. Once you have your 小猪视频address, .

Enter your information as below.

Username: Your 小猪视频email address (i.e. cbu14abs@cbu.ca)

Password: The default password is your 6 digit date of birth (yy/mm/dd)

After receiving an offer of accommodation letter, please submit your confirmation deposit and email your planned arrival date to Doug Connors at聽doug_connors@cbu.ca

When your confirmation deposit has been received, you will receive an email with your room assignment.聽Please note the opening date of residence when making travel arrangements.

Residence Application Fee:听$25

Residence Confirmation Deposit:听$700

Annual prices range from聽$2,240-$3,930 per semester
